Descriptive Problem Summary:
In the link posted to the image below, you can see the minimap (the small one on the left) is displaying a really horrendous version of the game world, it's pixelated and blocky, and honestly does about as poor a job as representing that actual game map as can be.

I've had this issue across several versions and it occurs on multiple pc's.

At one point, I may recall the minimap working properly, but that was ages ago.
Anyway, any input would be appreciated

A nicely drawn minimap of the game world
Actual Results:
A terrible blocky map
