Hikato was nice enough to host a server for us. I haven't tested it out yet, but here is the information you need:
CS Version: 1.6
Server: 209.94.62.67:27015 (corrected)
Password: cs4byond
Server Play: Just for fun type play
Options: No sniper rifles (I'm not sure the specifics on that yet)
I plan to play tomarrow (Saterday) sometime at evening and I will try to get as many people together as I can. Save the address on your favorites so you can play when it's unannounced as well!
Feel free to bring a single pal or so if you'd like, but try to keep to keep this mainly a BYOND-only server.
Also, keep it friendly. Remember, this is a fun server.... So have fun.
For those of you who only wanted me to reply on my blog to tell you when, I will be replying to my last CS post as well with the same info.

Did you try to actually join it? Or is there a way to even try if it's not showing it? The old server I used would sometimes not show up on my lists, even though I knew it was up because I had just logged out, restarted Steam, then logged back in (or something like that; I don't remember).

I first tried to add it to my favorites. It simply never showed up.
Just to be sure, I manually tried to join that IP. Steam didn't acknowledge any existance of that server. As for no sniper weapons, I didn't know you could do that sort of thing (short of custom maps editted like that, like iceworld or snow). | |

I don't know about 1.6, but CZ and CSS have it built in to restrict weapon types. *Edit* I can't find the server either. I tried adding it to my favorites by IP and I looked through the server list for the word Byond. Can you tell us the server's name? | |
Yeah, I've seen servers that have disabled weapons. They're simply mods that do that sort of thing. The server might not be dedicated or Hikato turns off his computer. I will try adding it to my favorites as well.

I'm admin on a CS:S server, and I can tell you that is just the beginning of what you can do. You can not only ban ANYTHING purchasable, but you can restrict them to any amount per team. You can set the health of individuals or everyone, run commands through their console, mess with the gravity and physics, and all sorts of fun stuff <_<
It isn't a mod that does it, either, it's a server setting, and can be changed by admin. | |

Thanks for writing a misinformed post, Freeman. It's a regular CS server, not a CS: Source server. Kunark was wondering how you can edit the weapons on regular CS. Dark Campaigner said you can do it easily on CZ and CS: Source. Go die. Maybe he misread. | |
