I recently went to Gamestop with a PS3 and 5 games.
PS3 = $40.00 (without hdmi cord. With, $50.00)
5 games total = $3.00
Guess what I did?

Hell to the no. I looked the guy in the eye and smiled and reached for my stuff then kindly walked out. As soon as I got in the car, I flipped out and started ranting lol. Like.. 40$ for a PS3? Come on. Be reasonable. So, now I'm going to sell these stuff online. Also just got COD Ghosts digitally. Now that I have a new game, I'll probably be actually touching my consoles more. They've collected dust.

My xbox was worth a lot more then that though at CEX (UK shop), I would of gotten £181 for my xbox 360 and games.... So I sold it on eBay for £140 like a baws. | |

Well then, that Gamestop in particular is run by complete scumbags. You would usually get like 8-11 dollars for recent games depending on what game it is or even more in store credit.
I don't blame the employees because i know it's just Gamestop policy to ask the customer if they wanna Pre-order every damn game thats coming out soon. | |

If I need to sell a console or games right away, I always go to one of the small, local video game stores in town. They'll give me twice as much as Gamestop.

My Xbox was offered by gamestop for $50. since i had a ripped cable, they offered $20. Then afterwards, I sold my controller and kinect and they ignored that i added those(when i should of got $20 for my controller{it was a trade-in special thing}) so i got $20 for something I spent over $350 on -.-
