A buddy of mine recently got back from deployment and turned me towards a website that he bought his current powerhouse of an MSI laptop from: XOTIC PC.

I learned a lot from the site, and found that a few short clicks could lead to a relatively inexpensive machine with incredible specs, custom laser engravings, and more. They also provide some options and savings I've never seen before.

I'm just passing the word. I'm thinking in the coming months I'll fire on an i7 15" with an nVIDIA GeForce GTX 765M---because I don't like bulky machines---but it's not hard to make your way into a solid 17" with a PCIe-upgradeable nVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M.

I went on to Newegg to see if I could a similar model to price compare, and here's the first one I found.
MSI GE60 2OE-003US
Newegg - $1199.99
XOTIC PC - $1199.00

Now we know we're not being overcharged. And if you pay with cash instead of card, they pass the savings on to you---3% brings it down to $1163.03. In addition, on this particular laptop, XOTIC PC is currently throwing in a free copy of Splinter Cell Blacklist and a matching mousepad.

From there you can customize the laptop to your heart's content, and if you don't notice, the customization screen also has this little dingy: "Don't see an upgrade option you want? Contact us directly, and we'll get it added for you!"

I'll end my rant with suggesting a look at some of their aesthetic customizations---skin wraps and laser sketches---found in a gallery of sorts on their Facebook page. Notably, I'm a fan of the laser sketches.
I looked at the keyboards section.

Their cheapest is the Logitech K120, at $35.

I googled this keyboard, and saw the prices on the right, ranging from $10 at Walmart to $14.99 at Newegg.

I'd say that's overcharged. :/

I'd say that's an understatement. That's quuuuite overcharged.
I'm sorry. Next time I'll remember to title the thread, "Buying a keyboard? ..."

P.S. They do offer a price match service.
I'm sorry, I assumed that you were saying that the site has reasonable prices, not just on one kind of item.

I try not to take things literally, because most of the time people don't mean it so.
