But output() can't accept vars as grid name, so you would have to loop through each var, which is how i have it.

Hm? Now then, i could shortened that proc to a very short proc then, if what you say is true, which i by no means saying it is not. would you have to use brackets, like usual? i tried it before and it said something along the lines of wrong type, or type can not go there, i forgot the exact error, but if i get it again, i'll post it.
