Just saying, if you guys code do you code for free :)? or for money :(?
where is the clipboard on dropbox?
it says copied link ot clipboard, where do I find it? where is the clipboard?
plze help me
The clipboard is an OS feature. When you copy things that you select, it goes to the clipboard. You can press ctrl+v to paste things out of your clipboard.
But where do you find the clipboard?
It's part of your operating system. You don't find it. You use it by pressing ctrl+c and ctrl+v
I clicked share link then get link then it says copied to clipboard, how do I find it? do I have to download dropbox to find it? is it a tab? what?
so when I install dropbox I will get it?
It's not a tab, and it's not part of dropbox. It's built-in to your operating system. When things are copied to the clipboard, you can paste them with ctrl+v
what do you mena operating system? I have windows 7 dell so if I go to my start menu I have to search clipboard?
Your operating system is Windows 7. The clipboard is not an application, but a built-in feature of many operating systems. It stores data that can be moved from place to place using keyboard shortcuts.

ctrl+c copies selected data to your clipboard.
ctrl+v pastes data from your clipboard into the current application.

When dropbox tells you that a link has been copied into your clipboard, the text for that link is currently sitting in memory, waiting to be pasted elsewhere.

its starting to make sence now but if the link is copied that means I have to click ctrl+v then after what do I do? its been pasted then after I click ctrl+v so where is it then, yes it is in clipboard but how do I get hold of it to paste in download URL
You press ctrl+v in the download url text box.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh thank you so much!!

Did you put the file you needed into the Public folder I was yelling at you about?

Only the Public folder allows for the direct links.
