A useful new option for the file menu would be "Rename Environment". This would rename the directory, the .dme file, the .dmb file (if it exists) and the .rsc file (if it exists).

It would also be nice if the current line and column number were displayed when editing a .dm file.

Good suggestions, both. I'll see what I can do.

and a del option too.

There are times when that would come in handy for me too. I like to keep a tidy file tree!

Hope I'm not pushing this too far, but I'd like to be able to make subfolders from within DM too. :)

File: Open brings up the standard Windows file dialogue thingy, you can click on the Shiny New Folder button to make a folder, then cancel. Clumsy, but works.

Ah, I bet that would work for delete too, unless there's some file locking problem. Good idea.

how about this
an import, which will put any byond file type into the games directory

now that would be cool!!!!!!

(i hate opening up all those folders, just to get to my game, then have to open another folder, then copy, then paste it into the folder, all that work, could be saved with an import... that would be neato)
