Honestly, I take everything bad I've said about the DS being a gimmick system. I enjoy it a lot. The Maro game is really fun, and I can't wait to try out some other amazing games the DS offers. Like Final Fantasy 3 which is coming out... Someday, but it really looks great.

I could see why you'd think nintendo makes gimmicks. I wonder about the Wii controller. Also, they do a lot of stupid shit to get money. For example: 7 mario parties Countless mario sports games and Mario DDR Remakes of old games that don't add a lot. etc. | |
Heh yeah, but this is the first mario game I've enjoyed since Mario 64, but mario galaxies(sp) looks pretty damn amazing. Wii is going to dominate this race... As much as I'd prefer it if sony did, but I must admit the Wii is great.

They've made a lot of great mario games, but to say all of them were worthy games is pretty rediculous. I think it's only a minority of them that were actually good.

Yeah, the New Super Mario Brothers is really good. I've been playing it for quite sometime now.

I just started it today for obvious reasons, and I'm only halfway done with the 2nd world, but how long is this game? If I can get that far in half an hour to 45 minutes of playing, this game won't last me long if it has the normal eight worlds, assuming the difficulty doesn't change.

I wouldn't call Nintendo products gimmicks, more like being original and taking chances. Besides it's market friendly =].

Also, all Mario games are pretty damn good. Some haven't hit the mark but generally when it's Nintendo themselves doing the developing it's on course to be a winner.

I never said all the countless sports games were good, but those are made my 3rd parties, which don't really make any other kinds of game. On the other hand, the games I listed are made from nintendo itself, when they should be making games that are actually good.
