Hosting Problems

When i host my game,no one can log on..not even my other key
it says connection failed when someone trys,anyone know how to fix?

How are you hosting it? How are you trying to connect?

i host it by clicking the little host button in the corner and then check the box and type in some numbers in the number box and i join by clicking games live finding my game and then click "JOIN"
