It most certainly is worth every penny...
I leanred basically all I know about DM from that book... And that's been enough for me to get my game up and running without ever having to ask a single coding question on the forums... Not a one... And I've only skimmed through the site reference and guide a couple times... All of my knowledge came from that book... It's really a great tool to learn the DM language... And there's more to it past that... It's really funny in some places... An entertaining read even if you don't need it to learn the language... And it's a really good quick reference if you need to remind yourself on a certain piece of code... So yes...I have to say again that it's definitely worth it... | |
yes. not only to quicken your learnign curve
but also its a good reference. All you end up needing in from the forum is people to tell you the command, then you look it up, and figure out yourself how to add it to your code. LJR | |
