I am wondering how much difference there is, as far as resource consumption, between turfs and objs. I created a .dmp saving library, which works quite well, except for not being able to seperate out the turfs which went into making the underlays for a semi transparent turf. I can't seem to figure out a way around this which isn't exceedingly messy, so I am considering making all my partially transparent turfs into non-dense objects. This may turn out to be even more messy than the alternative, but just for the record... Do objs in general take up significantly more system resources than turfs?

Objs have more vars than turfs do, so I would have to say that yes they do. An actual figure, however, I could not give, as I have no access to Dantom's source.
