Good point, but most Perl and C++ libraries are free to use.

Actually, have you ever browsed a 3D engines site for C++? The vast majority of third-party C++ libraries are shareware.

Most C++ libraries are probably not free...most Perl libraries probably are.

Why wouldnt the 'good' coders still not look around these boards? *shrug* And actually politely asking the decent coders one knows is also prolly another way to get around that ^_^

Question (This doesnt apply to me cuz I dont think Ill ever be able to put together a demo or library, my bent seems to be designing, not coding) but would it maybe be possible for non-subscribed people to submit a demo/library to byondscape, and recieve maybe a single months subscription?

Stuff that you take 'conditionally' wouldnt have to work for this, but I mean for fully functional, well thought out libraries. It might help some byond coders a touch. I dont have the money to subscribe, and Im 22 @.@ I know that a lot of decent coders are -much- younger then that *L*

Maybe make it a one time only thing just so you can get em hooked with a look of 'the inside' ^_~

Just a thought @.@ I have too many of them sometimes.

Sure. That'd be only fair!
