I recently branched out away from byond. I went in search of a new fix for my gaming needs. What i found was ArcadiaMC a minecraft game developing company. I played their minecraft server for a bit inwhich i got totally enthralled in. That didnt last for long though. So i went to their latest project "Starmade". It has got to be my biggest time consumer. I love how open the map is, I mean you could literally go on for hours and hours without hitting an end. It has a player ran economy with a bit of NPC based stock control. The combat is simply amazing its like eve done right with a creative feel. Yet to be explained though which i think is their best feature would be their ship design system. You can literally do anything with this system and i mean ANYTHING. Want to make a fan based ship from like oh I dont know the Enterprise? Come check these guys out.

Yes most of their projects have a third party that designed the core systems but they are applying their own touch to their projects in their own way.
