Is it possible to have text float above your mob? eg your name?
What I really want it for:
In my game im trying to make it possible for players to be members of a clan, clans are completely player created, and managed by the person that created it. I want your clan name above your head, so that you know who is who and clans dont accidentaly attack their own people.

Well there are 2 libraries sd_text and talk bubble. sd_text is Shadowdarke and talk bubble is Ebonshadows.

Both Ebonshadow's talk_bubble and Shadowdarke's MapText are in the libraries section. As for alternate links in general, if you can get to the people page and enter a name, you can see what that person offers on the hub. This is often useful for tools which have not yet been accepted. (The mentioned libraries were approved though.) PS: I'd post direct links, but I'm curious why the left frame links don't work. | |

Yes they just dont load. I get ye old "The page cannot be found" message. its just the links Libraries, Demos, Tutorials, and Refrence. They are broken for me. | |

hmmm...
what i want is your name to be constantly over your head. now talkbubble soundsmore like it only works for chat, diplaying what you say over your head. and map text only displays it over turfs. the description for sd_text fits what im after.... but im not a Byondscape subscriber, nor do i intend to become one, because i dont have a credit card, and have no intentions of sending money to another country (it would cost me more for postage, than it would for subscribing) cant you please make sd_text available? | |
