client.screen complaint

I was somewhat annoyed to find that changing client.dir flips around everything on client.screen. Since client.screen is meant to be used for graphical user interface stuff, and that's exactly what I'm using it for, I think it'd be better if client.screen didn't pay attention to client.dir.

Can it be changed to work like this?

Looks like this wasn't noticed. A simple "No" would work, I just need some answer on this.

I think Awakening already brought this up in different posts while working on Echelon. However, I don't remember an official answer in those either. ;)
