Can you help me with this spuzzum.
I have a 8 directional icon I have configured my East and West client inputs to rotate my icon I also configured my North client input to walk in the direction that my icon faces, But I have this for my North step(usr, usr.dir) dir = usr.dir + 2 it is the changing the Camera view that I have problems with, It is because it remaps the key's everytime the camera view changes is there any way to turn this off? please help me. |

When you change client.dir, it flips the screen around... but north is still north even if it's, say, at the bottom of your screen, just as east is still east, and west is still west. I'm not sure WHY you'd want to change the client direction when the player walks forward... you haven't really explained your movement system very well. I get the part about left and right rotating and up moving forward, that's pretty standard... but you've lost me iwth changing client.dir. Note that this isn't the forum for going into such things... try posting this in code problems, with a clear explanation that, reading through, would make sense to someone who isn't already familiar with the problem... i.e., isn't you. As for your sound problem... it's also possible you're using an older version of BYOND that doesn't support sound mixing. When was the last time you updated? Also, please do not post the same question again and again within the same thread... the reason no one answered the first time is because your question is nearly incomprehensible. Posting it the same way over and over again doesn't give us anything new to go on. |
