Great work on BYOND! I just have one question, if I want to be a forum moderator--which I do--how do I become one.

I beleave it's strictly voluntary, and only givin to the most trusted, top gurus of BYOND.

Dantom currenly only allow their trusted people be moderators, it's not an issue of dimes, it's and issue of trust.

I'm just a volunteer (not part of the official BYOND team), and I'm not privy to things like how moderators are chosen.

I think it is a matter of time and reputation as well as trust - Dizzy, you've only been here since March of 2002. The moderators are usually people that have been here a long time, and have established a rapport with the BYOND developers as people who would make fair moderators.

Besides, I believe moderators are chosen - not hired - therefore it is not an 'open-job'...

Dizzy, wait a year or so before trying to ask for such responsibility. You and the community would grow better for it...
