In newforum.jpg, what are the subscribers subscribed to? I think it's the guild, but the label should be more clear.

Will "non-guild members" be able to post on these forums ? That's entirely up to you. You can allow anybody to post, members only, certain ranks only, whatever you like. Yeah, it's the guild, but that's an excellent point. We've gone back and forth on our terminology, trying to make it the most clear, but I think this one slipped by. How about "Guild non-members" and "Guild members (ALL ranks)"? Would he be able to create a guild for "Solus" with a single membership on his main key? You can create a guild for any subject you like under any BYOND Member key. The only restriction is that the guild is obviously tied to that key (for url purposes, etc), so if you don't like that, you'd want to get a membership for whatever BYOND key will own the guild. "Within a week", he said... which means they have three more days to make good on that estimate! ;-) Yes, there's still some time left. I think it'll be close, but then the sudden departure of Tom may have pushed us back a day or two. Take all software schedule estimates with a helping of salt! | |

How about "Guild non-members" and "Guild members (ALL ranks)"? That makes them look like they are part of the guild but differ in their BYOND memberships. I think Non-Guild and Guild could be easier to understand. | |

Will "non-guild members" be able to post on these forums ? I'd love to be able to use the forum as a central one, and pretty much (manualy move all except Wargames) move all my game forums over to this one, and also use it as a personal forum. But I don't want it limited to byond members plus a few non-members. I got the impression that it would allow non-guild members to post, but will there be a limit on just how many non-members can post ? Or will the forum section be free of that. (I will probably have little use for the "guild" part other than the forum, admittedly).
