If what I think is correct, the graphical bugs everyone has been experiencing is due to placing 2 turfs on top of each other in a .dmp file. Shouldn't this be impossible anyway?
Ding Ding... WRONG!

Now say for instance i place water. Then i have a icon of a rock "with the grey invisible color all the way around it"
I place on the map.
It should be fine but somtimes when i host the icon wont be there. Thats with version 327+

It was somthing wrong when they tried updateing the gfx system..

That only works in the .dmp file. The turf under it isn't actually there, but the graphical part of it remains. I expect this was done for simplicity, but the turf under it is still technically non-existant. Try making new turfs ingame, and you'll see that you can't put them on top of each other.

Actually, RaeKwon is right about this one. You can put turfs on top of each other, and it worked for at least a year, until 330 came out. Now it works sometimes.

The explanation was that only one turf would exist, but it would take on the graphical look of all those layered in the mapmaker. Now it works about half the time.
