I need to know Dantom's e-mail address or the BYOND port number, so I can open that port in my firewall so I can host a game and people can join my hosted game, so plz answer me.

Thanx for the e-mail address. But u dont understand firewall, It needs the entire BYOND port, the port the BYOND runs on. But thanx again for Dantom's e-mail address.

BYOND doesn't run on a specific port, if I understand it correct. Open port 1234, click Host, change the Port : 0 to Port : 1234. I may be entirely wrong, I guess. LOL, if its wrong i wont blame u, not very much people know how to work that in BYOND and open a port for the firewall.

I think the misunderstanding is that you think you must connect to BYOND.com for you to play and/or host games. This is not true. A port needs to be set in DreamSeeker when you host the game (you can determine it, or let DS pick one for you) so that the BYOND Hub can make a working link when people try to connect to your game from the Hub.
For your firewall to not complain, all you should need to do is open the same port number (determined above), and you should be good-to-go... Good Luck! | |
