Well, this has most likely been mentioned many times by others but I was wondering if animated cursors could be enabled. I tried making an animated dmi and setting the cursor to it but it only shows the first slide. Maybe theres a trick to it?
You could probably just get away with making lots of single-state icon files, and then just flipping through them very fast with a loop.

Would there be a lag free way to do it?

As far as I know, that's the only way you could get away with it. There might be some way to flick cursor animations, but I don't know of these.

Client cursors are static by design, currently -- it took some stick-beating to convince Dantom to get the icons in the *statpanels* animating, so think of how hard it will be to convince them to make cursors animated. =)
Bump.

I can't believe this hasn't been added yet.

I can't believe that this is the latest one that you found. I know that I queried this back in my nubbin days. Although, for embarrassment's sake, I'm glad you didn't find it.

BTW, Bump.

I'm definitely supporting this feature, for what it's worth, haha.
