Recently today, I have been playing a game and throughout the entire day, the BYOND Version 334 software that I have has constantly been crashing.

I don't know why or what or even how this is happening, but I can assure you it has begun to tick me off. I can stay in the game for a while, then all of a sudden the Dream Seeker just dissappears. What I mean is, there is no sign of freezing or crashing, just, dissappearing. The complete window of Dream Seeker just goes, kaput! As though I closed it, but I haven't.

So, I am going to E-Mail Dantom the .txt file it makes when a crash happens now, I just thought I would post this and see if anyone else has had something of the same problem as me.

Ok, Im no expert on stuff like this. But I dont think its BYONDs fualt. Run a virus scanner. This has happened to me before (Programs just 'poof' dissapear while running), and Im pretty sure its a worm causing this.
But like I said Im no expert.

Thanks for the thought Dog Man, but I don't hold any Virus' of Worms that I know of on my System as I regularly check for them.

Thanks for your idea though ^_^

Ok. Have you tried reinstalling BYOND (Making sure to have no other programs running at the same time)?

ESPECIALLY antivirus programs. The only times I've ever had an installation program majorly screw up (unless it was just a terrible installation program :) ) was when I had an antivirus program running. Quitting the antivirus program made it install fine, no problems at all.

Nah, I found out what was wrong thanks to Tom ^_^

He E-Mailed me back saying he didn't know exactly what was wrong but he said that a corrupted users 'cache' can cause problems like this.

So he told me to delete 'byond\users\[me]\cache', so I did. Now it works fine...

Thanks Tom!!!
