i have no street address, and this might be a dumb question but how would i put my P.O. box #?

Usually a P.O. address looks like:

P.O. Box 123
cityname, State Zipcode

(Aside from the box number, everything else there is accurate to where I used to live. I didn't put my actual box number because I don't think the current owners of that box would appreciate getting mail for me. ;-P)

I don't have a street address, mainly because I don't live on a named street.

I actually live in the middle of town, the street just has no offical naming.

Many people use p.o. boxes (usually kept at a post office) instead of their home addresses for many reasons. Often when running a home business, a post office box is larger and can handle a larger number of packages and mail. Other people (like my mom for example) don't really want marketers to flood her mailbox with junk - many junk mailers do not send to p.o. boxes. It scan also be a form of security - hiding your location through the poastal system.
