I have someone trying to download my program who lives in Russia. They tell me they can not get my software and in return are getting this message. From the BYOND website.
This is a DM Script file. You need to install BYOND (for free!) and possibly configure your browser to open this file with Dream Seeker. For more information, go to: http://www.byond.com/script.
What am I suppose to tell people who get this message? How should this be handled to get this up and running. I checked out the /script and it doesn't look good for someone who doesn't even know what BYOND is in the first place.
[EDIT] Is this what someone gets with a non-Windows OS?[/EDIT]

What OS is he/she running? Windows automatically registers the DMS file type with Dream Seeker -- other systems will require the association to be made manually. This is a given... of course.. I couldn't get them to tell me which OS but I guess its not Windows.. I guess I'll just have to point out my software being graphically driven for Window users only :( LJR |
There's also the possibility that he/she hasn't installed BYOND at all.
