Does BYOND support this musical format or does it not?

If it doesn't support it, then will it ever support it for the future?

I am just asking, because right now I have a background music piece in a .wma format... I am after using this piece within the new project that I am working on with a fellow friend. Yet, as I just tried to hear the piece through the DS when testing the project, nothing outputted so I am guessing it is not supported.

Anyhow, I think in my own oppinion that this BGM will suite our game and all I need is two answers really hehe, Does BYOND support the WMA format or not, if not, will it ever support it within the future?

I know it has .WAV format and .MID format, but no one has ever brought up the .WMA format now, have they? -- Nope.

Seeing as it has never been brought up, and I am in need of an answer, I thought why not ask? Get my drift?

Nope, WMA is a Windows-only format, it wouldn't do tell in cross-platform uses.

Thats an excellent idea, I never thought of that before. You could route them to a webpage that will have them download and play any type of music couldnt you?

Yep, this was an idea that brought me to the forum back when I was a newbie. I thought it was so good I had to share it!

That is an interesting idea. Though seems like it might be kind of akward. I might consider experimenting with it though until we ever get MOD or OGG or whatever support, hehe.

Another idea was to load the music into a flash document and load the flash document into the browser.
