hosting troubles

well i try hosting my game and it uh.. says i aint hosting and i host it on private so people on my pager should be able to see it. i have myself on my pager and i cant see it either. i hosted it on public and it wasnt on the hub so im sure there is a problem.. can anyone tell me what to do or atleast tell me why this is happening?

Ok, Im far from an expert, but do you have a router or cable connection? If you do search the forums a bit and you should be able to find the solution to your problem.
If that isnt the problem then I cant help you, but it might be worth looking over the forums anyway.

You probably have a firewall, or a router, or your ISP has one, that's interfering with your ability to host.
