Controllers/Joysticks with BYOND

I was just wondering if it was possible to set up a controller to work with BYOND and how exactly youd go about it. I have a WingMan Wireless and its uber for enumlators and stuff like that and I thought itd be easier to play some of these games on here that are more like old NES/SNES games with it. It has a program that comes with it so you can set it up for basically any program with different keys and you can use keystrokes for those. I tried makin one bound to the DreamSeeker that used the numberpad keys but it doesnt work at all. Does any one know how if its possible at all to use a controller/joystick with BYOND?

Here's a cool program that allows joysticks to simulate keypresses. http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA016823/joytokey/ english.html . It worked pretty well for me after setting up everything.

Did you take off num lock? Also, can you bind it to just the arrow keys.

Im gonna check out that link and see about it thanks for the heads up but I think its just basically gonna do the same thing mine already does which doesnt work. But Ill try it. And yeah Ive got numlock off and Ive tried the arrow keys as well as the insert home etc buttons above the arrows keys since essentially thats all BYOND does is use the numberpad as those buttons because thats exactly what they are with numlock off.

Man that thing worked like a charm. I guess the thingy that comes with the controller doesnt emulate the keyboard keys it just uses direct input for em. /shrug at any rate I can now use my wingman with byond tyvm Theodis!! =0

Ever think of making in byond macros to use F3- F10 (i think that is the range.)
