This request would have to be for the icon editor. For anyone who's ever used the editor, you MUST know how tedious it is when you have an icon where you need to swap a certain pixel color with another and you have 20 different icon states each with 4 directions, the normal, "Swap" method just doesn't cut it in terms of efficiency. I'm asking for an option that'll allow you to swap that same pixel color with another through out that entire .dmi file.
All you have to do is edit the palette entry for the color. Locate the original color in the color palette to the right of the icon editor, double click the color and adjust it to whatever new values you desire. It will change throughout the icon.

There is a minor bug in Dream Maker that causes it to display the old color for icon states or animation frames that you haven't opened, but if you open them you'll see that they have indeed changed. To clear the display problem, close the icon (from the file menu) and open it again.

Also of note is that closing and reopening the file will also re-evaluate the icon's palette, compressing it appropriately. Thus, if you have five red icons and three blue icons, just change the red colour to blue, close the icon, and reopen it. When you do, all of the icons will use the same blue colour from the palette, instead of using different copies of the same blue on the palette.

This is a very important strategy to employ when you import true-colour graphics that you've made in a different editor and then adjust that icon to include transparency. The colours you remove from the icon entirely will be removed from the palette when the icon is reloaded (technically, when the icon is saved).
