I think its possible to use Flash in the browser aspects of BYOND.

I belive "Flash Chat" uses Flash.

It can do practically anything internet explorer can do. Internet explorer can play movies and flash animations.

Please explain the logic behind using a limited scripting language within BYOND?

Hey, you know what would make C++ a lot better? IF YOU COULD USE JAVA IN IT!

I think with the .NET framework you can.

Well, yeah...

But they're all being compiled into a .exe format anyway. Neither Flash nor DM does that.
