Was just wondering, in a future update of BYOND.. will we be able to customize the interface of the program itself? e.g. When the person downloads your resources and then connects to your game, DreamSeeker itself can change it's look to suit the theme of your game. Including buttons on alerts etc. And (I don't know if you can already do this) will we be able to move the client's text screen, say, verticle (along the bottom of the page?). Was just thinking about this. Would make creating games even more interesting and original. :)

If you BYOND developers aren't thining of doing this.. I highly suggest you do :D

Thanks.

I think this is planned for the 4.0 release, but details aren't easy to come by, you'll have to wait and see.
Well, I also think ther shud be a option (maybe .configure downloadskins 0) to use defalt and never download skins from games.

Use Reshack, you can open byond.exe and edit all the images, it is sort of an exploit i guess =/

I think it'd be really cool to be able to totally customize the interface. Sadly, I don't think that will be possible for a long while. The developers have more important things to take care of first, before they get into cosmetics.

Vertical is up and down, horizontal is across. =P
