A tale is unfolding. A tale of an intergalactic space-faring race traveling the stars expanding their Domain. The Lanteans traveled the stars in the grand city-ship Atlantis towards a new era to begin building their great Domain.

They settled in the Pegasus Galaxy and began seeding life. In this life an enemy evolved, the Wraith. The Wraith have the need to feed on the very life of other creatures to live; So they fed. This caused turmoil for the other inhabitants of the galaxy and for the Lanteans.

For a hundred years, the two space-faring races quarreled with each other. The Lanteans were superior in technology with their defensive shielding, offensive drone weaponry, and advanced technology. The Wraith however were superior in numbers. The Lanteans would win almost every battle, however, more waves of the enemy kept approaching resulting in what seemed like ever-lasting fighting.

The year is 10,000 B.C. and the galaxy is in chaos. The Wraith are now parallel in power with the Lanteans. Victory can be anyone's... The only way victory can be determine for either side is simple. You. Which side will you choose? How will you strategize? Will you bring peace to the galaxy or conquer it for your racial needs? You have the power. Unfold the Tales of Pegasus.

That is total b**l c**p
What out of that is "total b**l c**p"?
The game looks interesting but again, to get players, you will need to advertise this outside of BYOND.

If this is inspired by some kind of anime or any other franchise, you could search for forums dedicated to these and post a link showing your game and say it's "inspired" by it.

Creating a BYOND game is easy. Getting players from BYOND isn't.

Good luck with your game.
It's been in the works with advertising. Slow process. Thank you for your suggestions. Much appreciated. --M--
'Tales of' is a copyrighted series, I don't think you can legally use that name.
It's not called tales of it's called tales of Pegasus......
It isn't some weird Stargate clone thing, it's an own entity that was not from a ripped source code. & I don't see why you have to be so negative.. Doesn't go well..

It has 'Tales of' in the name, the series isn't just a bunch of games named 'Tales of', they each have their own name. It's not like you can make a game, legally, called Elder Scrolls: Something because you want, it's copyrighted and pretty sure trademarked. You have to do legal research in game development- didn't think I'd have to explain that one.

@Murano8817 - I don't see any negativity here or anyone saying it's a stargate clone.
You can't copyright something as generic as "tales of", NNAAAAHH, the third word is the integral part of the trademark for the series you are speaking of.

Yut posted a comment earlier, but it seems that it was deleted.

That's actually not true. I have been around since the beginning and Tales of Pegasus came out of the Stargate Online source. That being said, you should watch out with advertising outside of BYOND, as you do not have any permission to use content that's got a copyright on it. You'll have to contact MGM for that, and I'm sure it won't be free.

Which is why I didn't say the name is copyrighted; I said I was pretty sure. If it's not, then it's not. It's important for the developer/publisher to ensure it's not before releasing something of that manner.
The game came out of the Mayhem source that Jittai created.
Old project of mine that I no longer work on at all. For the record the coding was done from a strip-down version of MAYHEM and nothing was taken from "Stargate Online". Most of the icons are place holders from RPG maker that the guy in charge of art/assests was too lazy/busy at the time to finish.

Not that great of a game, kind of boring- I mostly used it to practice coding stuff and overall got bored of the project; still it is 500% better than the myriad of "Stargate Online" rips, with a shelf-life of 3 weeks, most of which are made by Gatdude/DarkerLegends.

If you want to host the server that is up to you but you should probably advertise on some fan-fic site for Stargate if you can find any.

Funny how you start talking like that after I spent hundreds of dollars to keep your games hosted, spoiled kid. You may not want to admit it, but you do in fact use SGO as a base.
Maybe you guys could have your spat in private, please.
Was just clearing the air and stating facts. I've got little interest on drama, one of the reasons I got tired of the project. Sorry for any inconvenience.
