If it's happening consistently, then it's probably a problem on your end.

What firewall(s) do you have?

Some firewalls (Norton Internet Security for one) block applications rather than particular ports or whatever, so if you have one of those firewalls make sure that Dream Seeker is allowed to access the internet.

If a firewall blocks by port rather than by application, you'll need to open up a port and specify that as the pager port in Dream Seeker (Options->Preferences->Pager). Almost any port will do, though one above 3000 or so is recommended for most uses.
