This is just a request I think should be looked at.Ripping icons most of us know it's annoying, well is there a way to stop it?If so why not make a code so the person coding the game can put it in and players can't use f2.

This has been requested many, many, many times before. It is simply not possible to stop people ripping icons. If you try to disable F2, they'll just use Print Screen; it works just as well. If you try to disable Print Screen (which is flaky), they'll just use a third-party screen capture utility (say, Hypersnap).
And even if you somehow manage to stop all screen capture methods; which is impossible; then they can still snag it out of memory, or extract it from your RSC file, or any number of things. The only way to stop people ripping icons from your game is to simply not include icons in your games. No ifs, buts, or maybes; this is the only way. |

It's not as bad as you think. 99% of the games that are made from icons taken from another BYOND game are absolute garbage.
If you work on your game and it gets popular then the only people who matter (your players) will know that they're your icons. [Edit] I can't belive I forgot the most important part. When someone steals your icons their game looks like crap because none of their icons match. They use your rock monster and your grass monster, if they try to make more icons they just end up ruining the entire game. You on the other hand can make fire monsters, ice monsters, people monsters or what ever you want without any trouble. |
The only way to keep your stuff safe is to not display it.
