Is there another way besides email? I know a icon ripper that rips everyones icon...
And spams every game he joins
"Ripping" someone's graphics isn't good enough (Unless you got a copyright, and if that's the case, talk to the people who copyrighted it.); neither is spamming I should say.

I'm pretty sure, any work whether it be Icon, Painting, Essay, or anything like that is copywritten someway. Thats why plagerism is illegal >.>

how about providing a key-name so that we can look into it? if you feel you cannot say it here, then contact a mod via email. mine is (jimm at digitalmouse.org), and if you look up the mods in the BYONDbwicki, you can hunt up their email addresses too.

and aside from the legalities of ripping icons, two suggestions to stop him is to ignore him and boycott (leagally and non-violently of course) or just not play any game where you see these icons appear. if he has no audience or no place to sell them, he will either stop ripping or go away.

regarding spamming in a game- this needs to be dealt with by the game hoster or the developer. BYOND cannot police your games for you.

Fatal Flood,Flood,Silent Carnage. All the same person.

Flood, I know of someone who uses flood as a name in several games, I, at first thought of you, Codingskillz, but then I shook it off, I think it may well have been a key. I do also second this argument, he is a known spammer (to me), and a I rarely agree with Snowfox here.

However, his offenses aren't major. He doesn't bring worlds down, nor does he actually do more than babble incessantly about off colour subjects. If game creators can't deal with them in their own methods, let it be on their heads.

And to think, people on Icon Chatters(z) complain when I mute people like him... It's no wonder I quit.

Rarely agree is correct.
Mob already has him ipbanned for his ripping and spamming.
He has spammed games so much that everyone in the world freezes and has to reboot though.

That, however, is reportable, though I am not certain if that is possible with the new gzip compression... I guess a mod might want to mosey on in and... tell me to loop it up myself. Any takers?

Fixed: Large text and browse() messages could crash Dream Seeker. Now older clients never receive the message; newer ones receive the full message properly.

[edit]found it!

Everyone should have updated their byond clients by now. If not, see the announcements.
