You know, I was just thinking since I recently made a new BYOND key, for reasons I will not tell, I want to be able to transfer my HUB Entries over to my new key, without having to take it out of the Byond Channel it is currently in and then wait months for it to get re-added. So, a simple question is as follows, add something like a security code, that you CANNOT change, and then in Hub Entries, be able to transfer them to another key, by answering the security code. It would be very helpful for people like me who make new keys for reasons I once again will no say, and dont want to redo thier hub entries, including ones that are in BYOND Channels.

If you tell me your new key, delete your existing hub entries and remake and submit the hub entries under it, I'll be happy to re-accept them. (I assume you're talking about your two Slime Journey hub entries under FanGames, right?)

yes, I am. thanks ^_^ ill do that later on today after my shows.
Edit: It still would be easier to do what I suggested above. |

It wouldn't be the same entries, however, if they use client-side savefiles, the players themselves would have to go into their keyinfo folders and change the numbers.
This is why I, personally, can't do this, since just about everyone one of my games uses client-side. |

This is true. I'm not saying it shouldn't be implemented, I'm just offering an alternate suggestion. =)

Then dont use the feature. I'm just saying it would be helpful for me, to just switch over the HUB entires without going through all the crap for adding it to BYOND.Channels again, though I will do that after school today, Crispy.

The ability to switch ownership of hub entries would be nice.
Perhaps the old owner of the hub entry would have the possibility of "transferring" one or multiple hub entries directly to another key. That key would get the hub entry. If you want to be really secure, you could make it so the transferral can only be done from the old owner, and the old owner needs to input the key & password of his key, AND the key & password for the new owner. |

That's dumb (Having to put in both keys).

No it isn't. Imagine if I made a crappy zeta rip with swearing and violence and pornography and just about everything else bad that you could think of... and then transferred it to your hub.
You probably wouldn't even find out until a few days later when someone saw it and flamed you over the pager. =P |

Of course. I was saying that putting in both key/password sets is a good thing. |

I mean it so that when it's done the hub entries creator will be changed to the new key and the new key has the hub entry.
This way, reviews will be saved, even when you like, made a second key or such and want to transfer it to it. Same for forum topics/posts, settings, etc. |

I agree. I don't really have a game(yet), but it makes sense.

Done! Old hub entries removed from channel, new ones added. And I rejected a DBZ game from FanGames while I was at it. =P
By the way, you misspelt "retriever". =) |

I also want this feature :). It would be very beneficial and it does not seem that hard to add in for us.
