Would be at all possible to get some Command Line tools for DreamMaker? My main reason for this is I host my game remotely on a Linux server, and my life would be much easier if I could just set up a CVS repos for my game source (gfx, etc), and have a simple build-script on the linux that will compile the new dmb and rsc, and reboot the server. Painless updates...

Actually, the Linux version already has a commandline DreamMaker, all you do is install BYOND normally and you should be able to access the 'DreamMaker' command like you'd access the 'DreamDaemon' command. It takes a dme file as an argument and will spit out an rsc and dmb as needed.

You're serious? No foolin'!? I was not aware of this. Thank you very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very....very, very, very much, Nadrew.

Okay, now, is there a comparable feature such as this in the Windows version? Perhaps a magic command-line switch that I'm missing?

Unfortunately, no, the Windows version is currently graphical only.
So unless you want to run it in Cygwin or something, or upload it to a Linux server to compile it... |
