I'm sure this has been suggested elsewhere, but I couldn't find it by searching.
I'd love to see a feature similar to 'banned keys' in the pager that I could use to prevent the front page from showing Member posts to me. - a sort of customized front page
Imagine that posts 1-10 are displayed on the front page, but you've blocked the poster responsible for post 4. Thus, you would have 1-3 and 5-11 presented to you instead.
If you're wondering how this could be useful, consider banned keys. Every time I get a 'STA' page, I immediately ban the person who sent it to me. Net result: fewer 'STA's. It could work the same way for Member posts. See an idiotic post? Block/ignore the person. net result: fewer idiotic posts to have to read through (since idiotic posts are much more frequent, a single block could potentially save you from having dozens, maybe hundreds, of topics displayed to you per blocked person over time).

If someone's entire journal has been banned from the front page for whatever reason (excessive vulgarities, for example), would posts made by him as a contributer to another's journal show up as well? Also, is it possible for someone who is a contributer to multiple journals "spam" the front page by making a post in each one? Yes and yes, and yes I have filled the entire front page then deleted it all again before anyone noticed. =P |

In that case, may I suggest that when showing the most recent posts in the front page, that it goes by user as well along with journal? If repeated entries are made, only the most recent is shown. I think it would be beneficial for the same thing to be applied to keynames (along with front page banning to go by keyname too).

I know only one post from a journal can show up at a time, but is it tied to just those or the person making them in the first place? It's not exactly something I'd like to "test", since I'd be interfering with other users.
