Game Hubs

I was just wondering why Byond staff canceled all forms of CSS? First it was the tottaly black and redisned pages with full color,style and font text style hubs. then it was special effects like scrolling marques. Now its sound and tables. I was wondering if anyone else thought that this sucked. Its not like it was lagging byond server or anything or esle it would have told us. Casue I want to be able to have a theme on my hub to match my game and I cant do anything but type words now (lame) >.<. Does anyone else agree?

I haven't heard of all HTML or CSS being blocked, just some things. Sound, at least, definitely shouldn't be on a hub page because unexpected embeds are annoying; but this is news to me. Blocking the marquee tag, however, was a freaking public service; that tag must die.

Tables work just fine.

I personally wouldn't mind it if only a select few non-deprecated tags from this list were allowed. And, as the world may notice, the marquee tag never even made so much as deprecation status. That's because its existence in the first place should never have been. Much like the blink tag.

The blink tag is perfectly acceptable in small doses. The marquee tag, on the other hand, has no situation in which it is useful -- even a headline ticker would be better accomplished with a static list of headlines. =)
