How about making a var that is Icon_Opacity.
100 = you can see the icon 100%
50 = you can see the icon 50%
etc...
It could be really usefull, and fun to play with... I know I could use such a var for my code.

BYOND 4.0 (or later. Fingers crossed but anything can change!) will have 32-bin icons with transparancy, so you'll be happy to know BYOND will have transparancy at least at some point in the future.
