Genjura	Well as we all know the ranking system has been a real pain in the butt. I think we should try and put in a new ranking system that is only available to certain games upon request or must hold some standards. But at the same time allows the entire byond community to rank the games. Example: None rip, Game play etc. This is a little picture of my suggestion: -Genjura

Lummox JR	The overall rank list will be going away as the official guilds get into full swing. At that point, we'll be relying on official guilds to present that information to players. BYOND Anime will probably be choked with rips, but typically very few of those have the power to make it high in the rankings, and those tend to be the best ones. Lummox JR

Best Rip. Kind of a wierd thought.

I think a voting type of thing with the stars (see the OP's picture) would be a nice idea for a universal ranking system.

Then you might be able to have the searches limit to "X rating".

We've bandied this kind of thing about before. There is the slight problem where it can be used to downgrade a game unfairly, though. The rating system on the other hand highlights games people care about the most, which tends to build games up, not drag them down.

Call it the Ashlee Simpson effect. I've seen certain artists panned in reviews on Amazon by people who clearly didn't listen to the CD at all, and are just ranting about the artist rather than the CD. Those reviews help no one.
