That, and wouldn't it be interesting if developers could post homegrown music they use in their games on their blog?

Actually we were able to initially have music playing(it must've been a over sight on their side), unfortunately they disabled it, most likely after seeing my site(the Byond staff probally didn't realize you could have music, until they saw me do it). I miss the music, I wish they never disabled html music codes sigh(My site was so awesome with the music). | |

Well then for you it makes sense, because you have to, but I get tired of curbing everyone's internet experience for the slowest modems. Perhaps there just needs to be browser versions for different speeds. So if you know you have a 56k you download that version which doesn't download songs or videos, but if you have broadband you keep the regular version. Music embedded on websites is just kinda tacky too, poor design in most cases. The majority of surfers wouldn't want to hear music when visiting some random web page, and a lot of folks listen to their own music while on their computer, stuff like that would just interfere. There is always the argument that you can just not have it auto-start, but I'd rather just leave it off all together. | |
