Descriptive Problem Summary:
In the BYOND application, my Feed tab seems to have stopped working for some reason. When I click over to it, it'll display the same thing as the last tab that I was in. This started about 3 days ago (after a computer reboot), and through restart of program, reboot of computer, and re-installation still persists. It's rather annoying because I would like to be able to post updates to promote my upcoming game. Here are some screen shots to give a bit of a better idea.

Have you tried doing stuff like...
deleting the BYOND cache? deleting the database files in the /cfg folder? deleting the pager folder? | |
Well when I uninstall, it deletes those. I've checked to make sure. But when I re-install, the same problem persists.

When you uninstall, it doesn't delete those, actually.
Those are in your user documents, which aren't touched, afaik. | |
Also, I've come to realize that only on this key is it a problem. :\

Are you using the absolute latest version of BYOND (499.1202)?

I need info on who's still having this issue, like right at the moment. I assume there's something in the feed code that's having an issue, probably tied to specific accounts and also to specific times.

I imagine if you reinstalled 499 right now you'd see it. I don't think the changes were significant enough that the problem would appear in 500 but not 499. Also, there's a bug just like this already known in 499.
The issue comes and goes on a transient basis. It obviously has something to do with the way the feed is being delivered from the site, which I haven't been able to lock down yet. | |

Because you were having the issue right now, I was able to isolate the spot of the problem. This is not in new code; I think you saw it working in 499 only because the feed item triggering the bug hadn't yet appeared. I'm merging this in with the other report; it's definitely not new.
