1) A Download Section, like where it says games, developers, community, help , Download Button goes here when you click it you will find BYOND suite dowload and libs and demos to download.

2) The BYOND store, BYOND could have personal merchendise like BYOND shirts, cups with the logo and a famous qoute made by someone on BYOND and stuff like that.

3) Widgets, BYOND members could have widgets on their blog such as weather, stocks, etc... so lets say they pay 25 cents per widget BYOND could make more profit.

4) DMGCI games on blogs maybe allow people to play DMGCI games directly from a blog.

5) Draggable boxes on the blogs so you can change where your names and description are displayed but make it work like facebook so it dosent look messy

6) 10% discount on all items in the BYOND shop for byond members.

7) Prepaid BYOND membership cards, people could buy them from stores and then use them to get a membership.

8) Ocasionall special offers on selected items (members only) e.g. a special offer on mugs buy 2 get one free.

Well that's it for now.

http://www.cafepress.com/byond -> Already exists.

That just seems like unnecessary eye candy. You can already change around where boxes are located with either CSS or using the Edit Site option.

The amount of money it would cost to set up something like that is astronomical. That's a design for large game companies like Blizzard that pull in millions per year.

Libraries and demos are quite separate from the BYOND software; they don't need to be bundled with it, and should not be. We have a download page for the software.

2) The BYOND store, BYOND could have personal merchendise like BYOND shirts, cups with the logo and a famous qoute made by someone on BYOND and stuff like that.

We've had that. It's pulled in about zilch. Maybe it's worth revisiting later.

3) Widgets, BYOND members could have widgets on their blog such as weather, stocks, etc... so lets say they pay 25 cents per widget BYOND could make more profit.

I kinda like that idea but it'd take some research on which widgets to make available, or we'd have to create them ourselves. I've done enough in Java that I'd be comfortable writing them, but there's the time factor. Plus, 25 cents a pop really isn't enough to make a big difference.

4) DMGCI games on blogs maybe allow people to play DMGCI games directly from a blog.

I'm not sure how that'd be feasible.

5) Draggable boxes on the blogs so you can change where your names and description are displayed but make it work like facebook so it dosent look messy

Way too complicated. It's a nice idea but it's not worth the time and effort it'd take to implement it.

6) 10% discount on all items in the BYOND shop for byond members.

I suppose if the BYOND store had any kind of revenues to offer, this could increase them a little, but really the idea is on hiatus for a good long time until it's worth looking at again.

7) Prepaid BYOND membership cards, people could buy them from stores and then use them to get a membership.

It'd take a lot of money to print, ship, and distribute said cards. And they'd be fairly meaningless to Joe Consumer who hasn't heard of BYOND yet.

8) Ocasionall special offers on selected items (members only) e.g. a special offer on mugs buy 2 get one free.

Again, the store is not under consideration at this time. But anything like that would tend to be fairly picayune in terms of revenue generation.
