Does this mean we might be able to unzip libraries and etc without a pager connected to the internet due to firewall issues?

I don't think so. Installations should still go through the pager, although DS may retain vestigial functionality to do that.

So as far as the Casual crowd goes, they'll still have to sign up for a key with BYOND in order to download anything from one of the guilds, even if its purely single player, right?

Any idea on when this will be released? This feature seems as though it will work perfect for my college assessment, which is due in 9 weeks. I intended on using Byond before, but was not allowed due to the fact that you had to open and log into the pager in order to run the game.

Am I correct in saying that this will no longer be an issue?

Yeah, sounds like it. So, we will have to predownload on a computer with internet access if we want to play offline xD

We'll probably remove the "login to download" stuff given that certain things will work without a key now. Also, the "package files" option should make more sense, because you can just send a new user a zip file and they can get started without going to the website. Eventually I'd like to figure out how to merge this stuff into an EXE so it seems more like a real game.

Well, why not add in Dream Deploy back into the ZIP package? Wasn't that what Dream Depoly was supposed to do in the first place?
