On the side index with all your files and such, where you have the File and Object tabs, there should also be another tab or button or something in that section of the program to switch to the Map quickly. For example, have an option to set the Default Map file to whatever the programmer wants, and when they hit that button/tab/whatever it automatically switches to the default map file. Personally, I would find this easier because on my bigger projects, I have numerous files, (a lot, easier for me to have them organized) and when I want to check up on the code on an object, I double click to go to where it is in the code, but to go back to the map file, I need to find the world.dmp (or .dmm, depending on how old the project is), which is in the middle of the files, to reopen my map. Granted its not much time, but it would be easier on some people (like me) if I can quickly get back to doing what I was doing. Just a suggestion.
