Byond Pager doesn't allow joining games

I am having issues with joining games online in byond. The odd thing is that I can talk to friends and see the games online with my pager, but when I try to join a game, it waits about 30 seconds and tells me Byond Central is not accessible. I have tried renewing my IP in command prompt, clearing byond cache, and unplugging my router for a few minutes to see if that was the culprit. The only temporary solution seems to be that sometimes if I uninstall and reinstall byond it will allow me for that login session to join games. Dream Seeker from what I can see never actually runs by watching the processes in command prompt. This is very odd and I am wondering if there is some bug/culprit that can be worked around to fix this. I am using a wired router with Windows XP Home Edition. And running latest version of byond. Thanks!

Update: Reinstalling byond no longer works for me. I will try older versions.

Something as simple as restarting my computer fixed it aswell as fixed my ports for hosting gamesedit. Who knew.

This has been happening to a lot of people in the newer version(s), including myself. Lummox probably broke something (surprise surprise =P). Restarting the pager seems to fix the problem for me, so just try that next time.

Please post (or have your testers post) a bug report to our tracker. If this is a problem in one of the newer versions, it should be easy to solve, but we need to isolate the version. We also need to know the exact details of the problem-- what the OP posted and resolved sounded like an issue with his computer.

Is this what you or your users are seeing? LJR has a suggestion there that will help isolate the issue.

That bug report is not at all what we're having trouble with. It may even have been related to this. I haven't had a problem with it in a few days, if I do again then I'll post a bug report.

And I actually did file a bug report about it several days ago, but I deleted it since it was easily resolved locally and I didn't have many details as to the cause.
