Would it be possible for Byond to own shell servers? Like get a new site only for that and it gets paid from from advertisement? It would help players host it and possibly be a good step up for byond? To get your own shell, It could be charged with the byond membership and making it 20? 25? dollars instead to have your own free shell server to host games with... Thought I would bring it up

And the Adds can be shoved somewhere in a small corner of the site. Or have them at the bottom of the site where no one will ever go. Unless adds are wanted to have visible. Then I recommend right below the navigation bar aka header | |
Well, the problem with that is, a website for shell servers wouldn't really be heavily used. Unless it somehow offered all of its control directly through the website.

Which happens somewhat rarely. Since the new versions of BYOND, my current server has been exceeding its limit. My Server Manager would need some updates. Though those would just take place as things went along. | |
I am currently considering the undertaking of offering publicly available shell hosting - for free - to the BYOND community - if a few things can come together.
