Okay, well something I ran into when going for animation. Turns out, the lowest speed setting for your animation is 1 second. After learning all about how 2D fighter like BlazBlue, and Street Fighter set up their frames of animation, I tried out the same thing.

I tried to set each frame for half a second...but it wouldn't work lol. So, does anyone know if Dream Maker will get an update, to allow for more depth in the animation?

I know the staff's discussed doing this for well over a year now but haven't put it on high priority...
You can already do this by turning down the tick_lag. And a frame delay of 1 isn't 1 second, its 1/10th of a second: 1 tick, depending on what you have the tick_lag set to.

Yeah, I know about that. It's just for people that want to animate in the DM without having to find an animation program online. Mostly for people who's strong point isn't programming.

It would be great for it to be an update. Also, that is somewhat true about the delay not being 1 second lol. I should have paid more attention to it. However, the animation still doesn't go as fast as I want it to go, due to how many frames are in there.

I'm trying to make some fluid-like animations, yet the animation is slower than what I'm going for, due to the amount of frames I have.

@ ShadowiceTeam :

So, you're trying to just create an icon and save it's animation as a .gif?

An alternative would be to cut some frames out to produce a more quicker appearance, but be careful which frames you take out in order to not distort smoothness.

Otherwise, you could post in Computers & Technology or even in Classified Ads to find a -- potentially -- free-ware Animation Creator.

Otherwise, changing the actual DM software/language you'll want to post here :
