Hello everyone,
Just want to say that there is a threat out there to all gamers. This threat has ruin the life of 1 18 year old individual. Your life could be next. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nc_4XpbK72o
This video contains most of the information you need to know. By letting them destroy our freedom of speech, this could ruin how we play CoD,Byond, LoL and many more things loved by gamers.
I understand that we need to stop those from committing terrorist act but for authorities to arrest him without an INVESTIGATION is insanity. They didn't look into the things he was looking into, they didn't look if he had concealed weapons, instead they decided to arrest this individual. They are planning to take 8 years of this individuals life.

I feel like none of this would've happened if he just kept the conversation/argument on the LoL website.

It seems people on facebook take things way too seriously.

while this doesn't warrant 8 years in prison, i do think it was a good idea for him to be arrested just for the learning experience. obviously his parents are retards and never told him that threatening to kill children, especially now since we've have recent school shootings, is not a good idea even if you were joking. im sure he's learned his lesson by now, he probably crapped his underwear as soon as he got detained.

Hopefully it sets some common sense and maturity into the other trolls with a bad sense of humor.

I'm all for joking around and whatnot but there's a time and place to say certain things and it's never facebook.

Mr. Carter was arrested several months ago on a third-degree felony charge of making a “terroristic threat.” According to court documents, police allege that he posted, “I’m [expletive] in the head alright. I’ma shoot up a kindergarten/ And watch the blood of the innocent rain down/ And eat the beating heart of one of them.”


Seems a bit more serious then making a video game reference to me.

And not everyone can't detect sarcasm, even when it's obvious, which is why you don't post something like that on Facebook. Hell, I'm sarcastic about 80% of the time on this site and from time to time I still have to tell people "bro, I was just joking".

The safest bet is to just make those comments around your friends, not on Facebook where any old coot can pull it up, read it, and call the popo.
