When a dev makes (complies and hosts) a game no matter what have persistent ads periodically (and non intrusively) show up. If a dev does not want those ads in content they can pay a small monthly fee to get rid of them. This makes it so byond will make money off every user. More revenue for byond no matter what! This sort of reminds me of a app store/ you tube schema of getting $$.

Adds in applications on the app store actually make revenue for the developer and they are actually the ones that put them there. YouTube plays an add at the beginning of the video only most of the time from what I can tell, never directly interrupting things, and game sites like Kongregate play adds at the beginning of game play basically the equivalent of what is done now. I can agree with the way things are done now, I'm not sure I would like adds somehow interrupting gameplay possibly ruining a game for a player. i.e getting them killed, losing them a pvp match ect.
